Natasha Campbell-Cross was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Thanks to her globetrotting parents Natasha spent much of her youth on family road trips across Southern Africa. Each outing was carefully documented by her father and later meticulously organized into family albums.

Natasha soon inherited her father's obsession for documenting events and her career in photography began at age 14 when she borrowed her uncles 35mm Nikon SLR and assumed the role of photographer for her high school magazine.

Following high school Natasha traveled to Europe where she worked with fashion photographers in Munich, Germany and later Toulouse, France. Since moving to Austin, Texas in 2000 she has worked as a freelance photographer.

Natasha lives in the Texas Hill country with her husband Phil and Labrador Maggie.
